Hi everybody! I am a long time lurker on this message board. I check in almost daily to see the work that you guys and gals are doing. I decided it was time to throw my hat in the ring an post an image for critique. I have been working in my studio to try to emulate some of the techniques that have been used here. I would appreciate any feedback you might have for me on this image. I really enjoy looking and learning from all of you.

Thanks!
Matt

Great shot, face seems way too "bright" compared to the rest of the body tone......but the angle is what distracts me.

LOVE the angle.
Normally I don't like it when there are crops beyond joints but here it works I guess.

Lovely shot.

A winner! I like the angle, too. Plus lighting, clothing selection, etc. The girl's expression also adds to the appeal, leading one to ask one's self: "I wonder what she's thinking?" Nicely done.

Beautiful girl, beautiful picture.

But the angle is like watching the villains in Batman.

Excellent shot. I like the brightness - goes well with her hair.

I agree with Frank, the angle and lighting are OK, normally cropping off limbs dosen't work.

If you want it really torn apart post it to the critiques and techniques forum :-)

Beautiful girl, very lovely eyes
face seems ok to me.
the angle debate, seems to be on preference. But as for me i love it.

The DOF, also let you get everything in focus. Very Nice Job!!

Matt, I don't usually care for this genre, but you did a fine job.
Having an excellent subject like her is half the battle, I'd think.
Still, you really made it work.
A very creative, original angle and perspective.
