Unless we encounter it on a daily basis, its easy to forget there are those less fortunate than us.

I discreetly photographed this fellow in downtown Niagara Falls against a contrasting backdrop of rather expensive tourist attractions.

This character seems unbefitting of his surroundings. From his posture to his appearance you can feel his demeanor in this colorful and modern background.

The image is well-meaning but I think it could use a little cropping. And yes I agree, the face and posture tell a story.

I have also noticed the contrast between the man and the background. He is also looking down - he is sad.

Great photo SK. It's good to see photos that aren't done with awkward looking, painted powdered ladies in a studio.
