Captured him/her on a recent visit to a N Calif University town. Seemed to enjoy all the attention.

Nice photo, nice color but maybe over done with that motion effect....should have been with less strenght I think but on right time you were there to shoot him.

Very nice catch, I like the motion filter although it does not server any purpose here, but the effect is cool .

How do you do that effect? in Photo shop for when you take the picture?

I did it in Corel PhotoPaint 12. First I made a mask of the person. Then I inverted the mask so I would be working on the background. I then selecteda "zoom blur" effect, tweaking it 'til I liked what I saw. The most time-consuming part was masking the person. Hope that helps.

Ouch...the photo reminds me of the old Jackson Browne song "Doctor My Eyes".
