Very Nice Effect! What did you do to achieve that? Was it a Zooming in /out motion? Or was this done post processing? What was the Aperture setting/shutter speed? I'm still pretty new at this, Thanks.

Very nice effect but it does not quite do it for me.

I think the background effect has to be symmetrical to the subject to draw ones eyes into the subject.
I know this is difficult to acheive when the subject is placed on a third.

light blur layer first to soften things up a bit.. this helps make the streaking a little softer once the motion was added.. after the soften layer, it is simply a combination of radial and motion blur using layer mask.. then i touched it up "painting" in and out the blur with a white/black brush.. then just tweaked the intensity a bit with the opacity sliders..

Great effect, I like it. I didn't though it was made with PS. I'll try that.
