Hi Frank, long time no see....

#1 is very strange, kind scary when looking in the eye and there are no eyes..............just darkness

#2 is also with strange light over some parts, in the eyes,in some shadow parts like her hands...etc... did you use additional color light, or its a flash from her clothes or something else

#3 is my favourite, I like this shot the most......simple and effective

regards Zak

She has closed eyes.

2.
A used a colored gel approach but in PS

Greetings,
Frank

ps.
I can say why I was absent a while
I have been askedby a national magazine to do the photography from januari on, so every month a new cover for my tearsheets. :-)

So I was arranging some things with the studio, a little remodeling to get a reception room. And I had to scout some new models, it's a magazine for men so I need to shoot lingerie and one topless per shoot (in style offcourse) so I had to find new models. For this I cancelled a few shoots I had planned on TFP basis so it was a bit quite for a week. But from next week on I will be back.

1. I do not re-call that option in Photoshop as "colored gel" and I used often, must be some diferent filter name or plug-in. You don't mind sharing with us that secret.

2. Well, geting into national matters is not small thing. Hope to see here your work starting from january....nice one..

3. Also a new scouted models would be good to see here with some new energy...

Thanks and regards

Zak

I like all of your Corine shots with the exception of the cool color temp shots.

there is no real filter set for what I do to be honest but I always call it that .

What I do is I use an adjustment layer on multiply with colorbalance, fairly easy to be honest and just make the mix you want.

Well thanks for sharing that little secret now it's more clear.

Just one more additional question:

For this kind of shots do you usea "flash fill-in" or it's without any flash from the camera. I ask that because when shoting on black background I have a problem of shutter speed, too slow:it is always 1" or 2" never something like 1/60s or such.

Thanks.....
