I like it! Too bad the bag behind the girl on right is a bit distracting. But, what can you do?? Great pic! :-)

Limeyg....
I live at the beach and take alot of beach shots with the ocean in the back ground...
My wife is my biggest critic and tells me often that I have to much ocean...I feel this is
the problem with this picture...Ocean is good but with nothing in it, you lose the focal point, the people...The bag gone is good to.... :G

I think you missed the point on this one , as I am not the author of the shot just the person who got rid of the bag. Your comments however are very valid for this shot

Not that great a job on the bag. Now there is a repeating pattern in its place.

I could not agree more about the cloning of the bag, however I did only spend about 2 mins getting rid of it just to see what the shot would look like without it.
It was not meant for serious consideration or reproduction.

Speaking on a personal level I like Shauns shot with the bags etc as it was after all a candid shot of two people enjoying a picnic on the beach. Take away the bags and the shot just becomes just two people sitting on a beach

Sometimes we are too caught up in changing things that we lose sight of reality.
