Sorry about the bright, blown background...the boyfriend & I were out at a park this weekend, and I turned around to grab this quick shot while walking thru some rock formations.

(on another note...I start my first ever photography class tomorrow...I'm so excited! Can't wait to improve!) :-)

Thanks... I know the color & quality is crap... I have lots to learn in using my cam...I know that!! But, I'm SO excited to have *finally* started taking a class, and can't wait to apply what I learn...

Anyway, yeah, he's definitely got the eyes. LOL... We actually both have green eyes & get lots of comments on what our kids will look like when that day comes!!

Here's a dark, unclear picture of myself...lol... (taken in a dim restaurant setting, and this is a full crop of a group pic, so it's pretty grainy too)

Way to go! Hope you find the course exciting. It certainly cleared up a lot of questions for me when I took one last year. Best of all, tho, it pointed out very clearly for me, how much more I learned on the forum. Best regards,

Yeah, even just after the first class, I already felt like I understood stuff on here on the forums that much better! Apeture? F-stop? Shutter speed? Wait...which is what?! :O No matter how many times I read it in a book, it still wasn't sinking in. But the hands-on, classroom settingdefinitely made things finally click for me & make sense. It's mostly the technical things I need to get a handle on-I know the technical problems with my pics-I just don't know how to fix them yet!!!

:blah:

Oh yeah...and the pics on these forums DEFINITELY keep meinspired to take top notch photos!!! :|
