The third photo really tells a story .

Perhaps, more accurately, it really creates curiosity in this forum member.

I wonder who built the cabin.

Also, I admire the jerry-rigged scales for the cheese.

The photo seems to convey an honest man of the land who wants to sell the photographer cheese, honestly weighed.

Yes, I agree with you the third photo is more of a "story telling" one perhaps! I'm quite sure this shepherd and his mates (fellow shepherds) OR some of their predecessors built the cabin! (I've seen shepherds making them).

Sure, he is an honest man of the land selling us some of his wares, all be it in rather primitive ways, but effective! (actually he was so kind to let us taste the cheese before buying it!) It was nice to have some real "fresh food" after a week of "hiking rations"!
