good clear shots and very little shadows anywhere.

I think a notch up in the mid tone contrast will add sufficient depth to the overall shot.

nice work

Clever and handsome boy, it seems. :-)
I liked the overall atmosphere, and you've also managed to give his mood well.
I agree what Ken said above. Still, would like to add that if you only select the boy with the magnetic lasso tool before these arrangements I think he'll stands out even more significantly. I tried some 50% sharpening and a little push to the right at the mid tone slider in the levels and think it worked well.

Thank you both Ken and Bahadir for the time and effort that you took to view my photos. I have a question.... Bahadir, is it possible for you to change the settings that you talked about and repost the photo.... I am not the best on PS and would like to see what you are talking about....

Thank you very much....

So sorry not to have noticed your reply earlier, Bagsfan. It's been almost a month!! Now I also understand that it is simply possible! (and I'm not going to cast black magic on anyone who would do the same :G )
Hope you're still there.

Easy, Bagsfan. I opened the the image in the PS, zoomed in and selected the boy's face with the magnetic lasso tool. Then I sharpened this selection in the USM and also increased its midtone contrast a little. Saved as Jpeg. That's all..I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the result.
Rgds,
Bahadır.
