G'day

I have yet to comment on any of your shots Frank. Only because I don't like them. Gee that sounds nasty doesn't it.

Ok I guess it is the style of shot that I don't like, not your ability or technical handling of each shot. They all scream socialite magazines of the early 90's to me. Those monthly mags that were half an inch thick that sat on your coffee table that only the missus read.

Anyway shots 3, 4 and 5 are cool but I feel a little too dark. Shot number 6 is my favourite but a little blown in areas.

I am picky I guess, so don't take it the wrong way. From what I have seen you do alot of experimenting and trying out new things so it is all good.

Hi,

see that you are now using only onelightsource if I'm not wrong and this is something new with your work.

As this is you intention then with acceptance of beeing differance as expected then reasonable this new style is noticable. That is meaning for your intention to be good and worth of trying.

O find #5 very interesting but the right hand of male which really distracting me. I mean the position of his hand.

Also I like #3,

and not to forget I see kind of different white balance on photos like 2, 3, 4, 5 as you ussually do on previous work.

Well toning is something I have been working with for a long time but never in published work or internet.
It's still not sure what I want with that

The different lighting is pure for this session, I normally use indeed 2 or more lightsources, on the other hand I also often use one or none

I have had some critiques that all my work is the same (although I don't agree with that) I have decided to make something very different, more gritty and more abstract, to be honest I allready did this for a long time but never published it, it was just something to test the crowd
