Great set, Frank. Number 1 makes unnatural, unrealistic feeling. It is probably because of the mixture of the high-tech retouching and natural environment

I'm in a quandry Frank. Your photo setups are excellent as always, but I'm not sure how I feel about all the processing you're doing lately. In some contexts, that works. But in others I'm not so sure. Do you have a specific reason for all the processing? Or just experimenting?

To be honest processing is kept to a minimal with this session.
Most of the effects you see is the ringflash.
Skinsmoothing is done to top it of and some tweaks to the colors, but more was not necessary the ringflash in combination with the 5D and the lenses I use give a very contrasty and crisp picture, the flashduration of the ring is incredibly short giving the pictures a very crisp nature maybe that's what you are seeing.

There is no plugin used for the render like pictures I have been experimenting with.

thank you for your answer Frank. so i have to say not a high tech retouching, but high tech studio equipment and of couse your mastery with that Frank. the first shot just stricks with all these qualities (sharpness and crispness), my opinion, it just doesn't belong to real life. thank you one more time for your posts and advises on this forum.
