A bit flat in lighting to be honest.
There seems to be very little contrast in the shot, you could experiment with more shadows in the picture or levels and curves.

The plugin effect doesn't help here, it makes the picture look undetailed.

here you go, ken. original +background removed, +red eyes removed. to be honest, i didn't take this picture, but it was taken with my old camera. unfortunately there is not enough details in the original to work with, sorry for disturbing you guys with this post

i agree, Frank. But I didn't try to achive fotorealistic effect. i probably should of remove the color completely.

Ahh i see

Wat do you mean "sorry for disturbing". i think its geat to see a varit of photographers and there work. I was just curious to see what the orig image did look like.

I can see what you mean wiht the lack of detail but you have done well to create a nice unique looking edit.

i just had aquick play with this shot. hope you don tmind. Apologies in advance if the colour temp is way out. Did this edit on my laptop

just did some quick aggressive editing to this shot. it prob need to be backed up a little.
