really challenging shoot for me. had a tough time with lighting, focusing, expressions, pretty much everything. children are SO much easier for me! C&C welcome. Thanks to pjporter for her pointers!!

this was my favorite approach, but i just couldn't get the shutter speed/lighting to work right. i'm really bummed about the way these turned out technically but they loved this shot.

Love #1 and #3,there is something magical about a woman being pregnant and you have captured those moments. Wonderful pictures, always look forward to seeing your work.

I love Nr. 3

The rest is a little bit a mixed bag, the last one I don't like the effects you used, and the ones with the couple together is lightwise not my choice, a little bit too harsch.
With pregnancies I normally choose for soft lighting accenting the belly of the model/mother to be.

But again, nr. 3 rocks

i like #5 the best also, but the light was not your friend. perhaps stopping way down, and using a very fast shutter wouldhave helped... it might have cut back the lighting in the shadows, but it might get you a sort of soft, half-lit effect that i think would have made the shot even more appealing.
