Default New sport foto's (comments please).

Hi,

Bad weather conditions tonight, but I tried anyway with my HP850, I used maximum zoom and the pictures are cropped.

In the 91st minute we lost the game due to a penalty.....

I hope you like them.
and please comment on how to improve, it stays hard to get everything in the picture due to shutterlag.

Greetings,
Frank

Frank, I noted that you said, "bad weather tonight", I can only assume you didn't really mean night as in night fall since those shots look as if they were done without flash and I'm just wondering where you are that is this naturally bright at night.

This comment is from a local boy from Honolulu where it gets dark after aboout 6:30pm.

Incidentally, I'm quite impressed by the quality of the action shots from the HP. Colors are well saturated and your cropping helped to focus the viewer onto the action in the pics. Good work.

Selvin,

I was also surprised it was really in the twilight of the evening, arround 20:00-20:30, "total" darkness is here (the Netherlands) arround 21:30-22:30).

Sometimes the HP850 really surprises me.
It was not pitch dark but I had the urge to let the camera rest, but hey it's digital so I just went on shooting to see what would come out.

Greetings,
Frank

I liked to looks of them, thought they were well done. I have taken sports photos for well over 25 years. The only suggestion is to learn to anticpate when action is going to happen but it does come with the cost of a few shots that have absolutly no value. In all I liked all the shots.

Great shots, I love taking sports shots.
Outside sunny shots are the best.
