Ideas welcomed especially regarding composition...
(BTW,I remember Vito did asimilar dog close up some time back, which maybe jogged me into doing this one, but I can't find it now...) Canna |

i think the picture would be a bit better if you got all of the dog's face in it. the intensitiy in the eyes is really nice.

Hi Canna, nice expression there...even tho the eye is not the major part of the photo. I would have tried to get less of the ear/back part of the head, and rotated a bit to catch a little more of the "face"...er... dogs have faces don't they? Nice overall appeal and great color. Best regards,

Hi Dennis and Kennneth,
Many thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated! Firstly, I should have said what I was aiming for when I posted, I wanted this pic to look a bit wierd. It obviously isn't being seen in those terms, so I haven't got it right. I think I will do some more to it in a while, and post in in the Digital Art section....aiming for greater weirdness. Secondly, in terms of a straight close up, here is one I did earlier, which seems to take on board a lot of your crits... (theeye expression isn't so good.) Thanks again for the comments. Canna. |

Okay - now I've done a lot of PS work on the first image, but given that I've posted the first 2 here, I'll think put this one here as well. As always, I'm keen to know if it looks overworked, or if it still doesn't look weird! (Or if anything else could be changed...)All best wishes. Canna.

It'd getting there....but if you and your model are in close proximity, I'd experiment and see what other angles can do....best regards,
