Hey Dustin,
Here is an unsharpened picture. My settings for the other one was amount 34, radius 2.0, threshold 1. Let me know what is wrong I can not figure this out. Thanks, Kevin |

its not your editing.. you have some definite issues going on in your originals.. if you look at your diagnal lines, they are very jagged.. and there is just a lot of general artifacts going on..
http://www.graphics.cornell.edu/~wes...res-chart.html go down to printable .pdf version and print it off.. and fire a few test shots filling the frame.. no need to do it properly as we are not measuring the resolution.. but it has many different lines on it and we may be able to see if you are having some moire issue or not.. -dustin |

Thanks Dustin,
I downloaded the sheet, and will have to work on this tomorrow I don't have time tonight, just wondering why is it that when I print these pictures out on my photo printer, at 8x10 they are fine with no problems. |

I heard there's a virus going around most cameras currently. Apparently it was started in a Fuji factory in Hong Kong. :-)

Trust me it is not my camera, it has something to do with when I am resizing them for the site. I even have the same problem with negitives and slides that I have scanned in high resolution, and then resized, when I make prints on my photo printer there is no problem, and even had prints made as large as 20 x 30 with no problems.
I have not figured out this problem with the resizing thing yet, it does not happen to all of my photos. Kevin |
