Thanks Dustin. I went down to Durban - coastal city about 600km from J'burg. Needed a break. Was working on my thesis through out December. Just wanted to be away from my computer and work. I did exactly that.

I realised how much folks on the forum mean to me. Missed all of you. Couldn't wait to return.

i bow to thee, oh great d-man of missouri usa.

when i grow up, i pray that i may be blessed to shoot half as well as these two

amazing shot's.

i shall burn all previous work of mine and start anew.

[align=left]btw scot- in this world of digital, burning previous work is rather expensive, as replacing the computer will not be cheap! more to the point, it would be a shame to lose your work, i know i have enjoyed alot of what you have posted.. [/align]

actually, i have been shooting all of mine on 110 and scanning.

but your right, it would be a pain to replace all that high tech stuff.

maybe i'll keep my old work, but i will definately strive to achieve shots like these

beautiful birds.

the clarity and detail makes me yearn for some "real" photo equipment.

anyway, my kodak "pazzaz" is getting a bit wore out, so maybe i will move up to a

newer model.

perhaps a minolta mark II or maybe a kodak tele-ektralite.

i hear theyr'e pretty bitchen!!

all kidding aside, these shots and your honest critiques keep me moving foreward.

i'm still working on my websight, but hit a couple of roadblocks (a few software

nightmares and a nice new break-up with a long time girlfriend

) that had me step

back a bit and take a fresh look.
