I dont know about Peri's stance on photo realism, but I think the edit isgood. For the clone you could have selected an area of fence from further up or down that wouldnt have looked so identical. But after allwe aremaybe only seeing it becausewe know about it. As an image I think this has been worked up to an nice final level from its starting position. An good example of a photographic work flow through post processing and the benifits of the critique forum. |

Nice shot, to flat tonally meaning, try to reconvert it from color back to BW, play with your silders to get the most punch out of this shot. Needs contrast. Remember people this is black and white, not gray and dark gray!!! More contrast!!! Otherwise, perfect composition, and exposure.
