This was one cool dude...very well dressed I must say he stood out. Any ideas on how to get this fella make auto focus be kinder to him? Just could not get the detail to centre on him and not the rest.

Change your autofocus to spot and place the duck in question in that spot. its got good contrast so it should pick up.
Or, set your apeture to something higher so you have greater DOF, and get everything in. |

Hi Ken,
That is one VERY cool looking duck! AF is wonderful sometimes, but at others, you just wish it could do that BIT better. I think the only possible option that I can think of is some sharpening, maybe selectively on the cool duck. I reckon others here might have some more learned advice. Best, -Ben |
