One of the shots that I have made last year which appeared to be OK.
Really need your comments about possible improvements of this photo. Should I try more contrast, or more color saturation.... or should leave as it is... Thanks and Regards Zak |

hey zak
i really like this shot. i like the overall colour and contrast of the image and great detail in both the face and the clothing. just a bit hot on the left side with the flared shirt sleeve and backing. i like the expression you have caught also backed with a nice crop nice regards KEN |

Just as Kenmck said the left side has flared a bit, making it start to mix in with the background. The colours are nice, and the overall area is sharp.... Great job.

I personally don't like the white wall as a background. To my eye the image looks better with something a little darker. It would look better with some shadow and texture added. And with the full sized image the transition could be improved.
I think the face is fine as it is. Like a compulsive gambler standing in front of a slot machine with a handful of quarters I couldn't resist messing with the face a little. But the original is good. |

the color contrast and exposure on the kid look fine to me.. the blown background on the left is a bit distracting, but i prefer it to the false background offered by slipe.. if it were to be made to look natural i think it could work, but as is i can tell its pasted in.. you may try goin all black background? that is often easier to paste in..

i'M NOT FOR IMPLEMENTED BACKGROUND. It doesn't make it natural.
See the original and suggest ot tell what you thing about my postproccessing. If you have something to add or comment please do. I'm trying to make as much better photo as it could but without anything un-natural. Thanks Zak |

what you mean un-natural, youve obviously done some pp from that last pic to the first... i agree the white isnt helping in that first pic, but other than that it seems quite nice

Un-natural I mean that if I change the background it will be obvious that it is pasted not shoot as it is.
Thanks Zak |

I thought the first picture was the real one! You a good job at making the picture "better," for a lack of better words.

If nothing else you could clone the other part of the background over. Or just take a shot of some curtains and drag the toddler onto the curtains. |
