On the way to work , and couldn't really find anything to shoot, but had the urge to shoot something.

In the winter, the whiteness of the snow can often confuse a camera's meter, that is why I was asking, I was taught to take my metering from a darker blue part of the sky. I think this picture pretty good, it just lacks punch mostly.

yes true and most of the time snow or ice can look bluish
