I posted this in the wildlife forum, but wanted to get your thoughts on this. This was at the end of my Len's limit, so couldn't get very much details, but I liked the colors and composition, just wanted to see what y'all thought about it.

Nice composition and it seems sharp, even though it was at the end of your len's limit. A good action shot.

Thanks Frenchy, appreciate your comments very much. I wasn't too sure on the sharpness, butwas hoping it was sharp enough being that it was at the max. Thanks again.

I love it. The composition and colors are wonderful.
How many shots did you take to get this gem? |

Thank you LadyHawk and Julie. Really glad you like it. I always appreciate your comments and critiques as I learn a lot from it.
Ladyhawk, to answer your question, I got lucky that day, this was actually my first shot when I got out of my car. I have taken 100s of pictures though from that same lake of Geese, Ducks,Squirrels, and what ever else that may be interesting around it. LT |

I like this one too. Canada geese are lovely fliers. The way the one has his body postured and arched, I'll bet he was looking to land. I watch them a lot and when they decide to drop in for a water landing they are something to watch. Some are more graceful than others and it's this graceful pose that I like the best, you can see it in the lead goose. Beautiful to watch them glide and hold that position while they angle for their landing. This is a very nice shot. Good work...

![]() Sure, the geese are taking off. No 'flaps' (feathers)can be seen activated for the landing approach. ![]() |

plus, at this low altitude, their landing gear would have obviously been deployed!
