Hey guys, i see some amazing photos here. I just got a Nikon d50, should be here next week. Until then, here are some photos of mine that i have taken with my Kodak C310 4.0mp P&S. Basically a completely awful camera but i got a good deal on it with the photo printer as an entry level for myself. Anyways... here they are

Welcome to the forum. I am sure you will find a lot of fun and learning on this forum.

Concerning shots one and two. One of the immediate problems I notice is insufficient light. As you know this affects the quality of the photo. In my opinion you should have used a longer exposure. Also with low light you need to hold you camera firmly or use a tripod to avoid camera shake. By doing so you improve on the sharpness of the image. I am sure other folks will be able to add more on to this and the rest of the photos.

Also for effect commenting, you might do well to post just a single photograph.

thanks i appreciate it. I see what you are saying about the light. With the camera i was using, i have basically NO options. If you know anything about the c310, its got no options. The only settings are off and auto. Its very bare bones and basic. I will def learn a lot where as I have already learned just from this post! I cant wait to get my D50 and take some great shots!
