Wow, that is a bright sunset! Love the colours. Don't know if the picture would benefit from cropping the darkness at the top – or if it mimics the darkness of the buildings below…

I must have missed these. Beautiful sunsets as always Steve. I like the second one but feel a run through "Neat" may loose that graininess.

These sky shots over Jozi seem gigantic. We only have a little sky here in the uk.

Thanks for the comments Kef & Syd, have run them both through NI and reposted.

This is one of these rare moments mother nature offers us.
And you were there to capture it, Steve.
It has such a poster look.

Very hot photos, great stuff, Steve!

I particularly think the 2nd one is great as a label on something (a fine, deep red Sth African wine maybe?) The enhanced rays look good.

And the first one is a nice "wall / poster" one as Bahadir suggests.

You did a great job (as per usual).

Running through neat image did quite a good job I think (I saw the earlier versions).

Thanks Bahadir - I love nature, it has a way of reminding us just how profound the natural order is. That same sun will still set in that same spot in 100 years time as it has done through all of time, as we know it.

Thanks Paul, I don't really like using Neat Image because itseems a bit of a 'cheat' to me- just a personal feelingwhich probably isn't really that justifiable.

Steve, btw, with your permission, I'd like to make a present of either of these great shots (second one preferable)to my father-in-law who is a lover of red and yellow as a great supporter of Galatasaray(the winner of both UEFA cup and UEFA super cup of the year 2000 as football fans here may remember) :-)

Bahadir - please feel free to help yourself and nice of you to ask. I feel honoured but don't know if they are really that worthy.
