A recent shot taken in an old graveyard. Colours were muted in CS2 and a few distractions cloned out. Any thoughts appreciated.

I like it. It has an ethereal ambience.

I really like this shot, it looks great. I'm knew to CS2, would you mind explaining how you muted the colours?

Stranger Jul 12, 2006 9:37 AM

No problem Longside1.
First go to Image>Adjustment>Levels to correct your levels.
Next go to Image>Adjustment>Hue/Saturation.
This palette will allow you to adjust the Hue/Saturation/Lightness of the colours in your picture.
The 'Edit' box allows you to choose either the master, ie, all the colours to work on, or individual colour channels, ie red ,blue green etc.
Go gently as over doing it with this powerful tool can lead to some strange results.:-)
Also make sure the 'Preview' box is checked so you can see your changes in real time.

I like the shot Stranger! It conveys a different type of atmosphere not seen very often. Good job!
