Iknow this has a lot of barrel distortion. Was wondering if in this case it should be kept... or not ?
Other comments welcome. |

I like this and I think the barrel distortion works well. Nice to see that the speed hasn't blurred the train completely as I've seen with these kind of shots before.
Quite effective! Regards, Syd |

Hi,
I think the barrel distortion adds to the illusion of speed - almost makes it look like the train is "leaping" forward... Dom |

Wow...nice sense of motion play goin' on here! The colors are awesome also and the exposure looks pretty good. The angle of this shot is attractive. Yep, this baby's a keeper!! :-)

I'm going to go slightly against the grain here. If I had taken this shot I'd be thrilled, but I don't think it's one of your best.
Technically it's an excellent shot, but that is what I expect of you. Artistically I'm afraid I don't find it terribly inspiring. It may be quite different in a large print, and I'm sure it could have some commercial value, but I don't think I would put a print on my wall. |

Just a thought and seeing as you seem to like the Illustrator effects, maybe you could do something with this? To be honest when I first saw this image I wasn't too keen on the platform or the grey area to the bottom left - maybe if you did that vector rendering on this or something? Dunno just a thought....
