I purchased my first digicam, the A510 about 3 weeks ago and have been really impressed with it so far. I picked up a 4 four pack of Energizer 2500 NiMh batteries and was able to take 200 shots with the LCD on, some with the flash as well (still had some juice left)....a must have.

Anyway, I just got back from a weekend trip in Laramie, Wyoming and took some pictures this Monday morning while fishing.

What do ya think?

Nice. I like the 2nd and 3rd photos quite a bit. The first one is kinda ruined for me by the concrete...it tries to draw my eye away from the perspective of the windy trail and the bushes/mountains on the left. Cropping out the bottom third or half of the first picture would improve it in my opinion.

Photo 1 nice photo but I feel the foreground is missing something and the concrete does not help.

Photo 2 This one I like least for me there is no real focal pont and the rereflection is burnt out. It may of helped if you had used a graduated fillter.

Photo 3 and 4 Spot on really, like both photos did they need much adjustment in photoshop before you posted.

I agree about the concrete in the first image, though cropping to eliminate this will detract from the whole. Not perfect, (my editing !), just a quick one to show what I mean. I thought something like this perhaps ? (I like No.3 the best.)
