Default Aaliyah

I usually wouldn't post a shot this quickly, it was only taken a few hours ago.
The only post processing is a resize and a sharpen (done quickly in IrfanView)

I know her face isnt lit quite enough, it was very tough to get the light right.
I love the feel of the photo, but there's something missing. Hopefully one of the bright minds on SD has an idea.

I love the gothic feel of this, I will be preserving the temperature of the shot. I like the idea that she's being lit by fire in some brick castle in the 13th century.

ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/250
Aperture: f11
Focal Length: 48mm
Camera: Nikon D50
Location: Ruins of the Trappist Monastery (Winnipeg, Canada)
Light: SB900 into a gold reflector

I was hanging through a window, the SB-900 was on the ground pointed slightly upwards and directly away from her. The other photographer on the shoot was holding a gold reflector trying to bounce the gold flash back up at her. Everything about this was trial and error, and exceptionally awkward and uncomfortable!

Thanks for looking! C&C welcome and appreciated!

I feel there is too much black. Even in dark shadow there is some detail to be seen if there is detail at all.

I like the original "as is"... the lighting suits the "historic" look... and they only had candles back then...
