Well I've been browsing this forum for a while so I thought I'd post a few pics I took today. They were taken with my new 20D and I'm brand new to dSLRs. I used to shoot with a Sony DSC-W1, but I love the 20D. I've had it for about 2 weeks so be nice (but not too nice, I'm here to learn!)
I went to the viewing area of Gen. Mitchell International Airport (Milwaukee's main airport) and took some pics of a few planes coming in. All were taken at 1/1000 shutter priority mode at 100 ISO. I realize that this was still a little slow since there was a small amount of blurring. Also, these photos were handheld using my new 70-300 IS USM. I also plan to photoshop out the sun's reflective spots along the body of the plane, I just haven't had time. Thanks. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 100% JPEG versions available at: http://www.milwaukeereptiles.com/pho...lanes/1996.jpg http://www.milwaukeereptiles.com/pho...lanes/1959.jpg http://www.milwaukeereptiles.com/pho...lanes/1942.jpg http://www.milwaukeereptiles.com/pho...lanes/1891.jpg Thanks for any feedback/suggestions, Brian Skibinski |

i like the angle on the last shot! since its shot at a slight angle it gives the shot a little more feeling of movement.. looks like you are doing well with your new camera and lens..
thanks for sharing --------- dustin www.hardwickphotos.com |
