No need to apologise SteveDak! I can never get enough of sunsets.
Out of curiosity did you blend pictures to get the range of colors? |

Hi Shadow - with my level of PP skills, definitely not! The range of colours is exactly as it was albeit with a bit of tweakingof sharpness & contrast.
Dustin - the various sunsets I've posted were taken over a period of three days from the same spot- not sure which other one your referring to. Cloud formation at this time of year has a habit of changing quite considerably in a short space of time, depending on how fast the rain storm is moving. We often have a regular 16hr00 storm or shower followed by sunset conditions at about 19hr00 - if that makes any kind of sense.Great place Africa (at least this part of Africa is)! |

Steve, I don't know but I have looked hard and can see that either the photos are grainy or were over processed or..., the sunset, the colours are fine but that smoothness is lacking. :-)

Thanks Aumma, Maybe I've been a bit heavy handed on the sharpening - could be as the monitor I'm using at home is not as good as the one I have in my office, where I usually post from.

I think it is true, steve it seems the computer you use sometimes fools you. These things are not the same. But keep them coming. Always look forward to learning something from you.
