posted a similar shot a few weeks back, but i didn't really like it, so i went back and
re-shot. still not happy with results, so i played a bit. please let me know what you think. i wanted a kind of dreamy shot from some forty's movie. here's what i came up with. |

overall, i like the feeling and look of this but something about the cropping bothers me. it feels a little tight or unbalanced or something....hmmmm, can't quite put my finger on it. i think you achieved the 40's /dreamy feel thing though.

i wanted to achieve a surreal look with a few shots and tom, you hit it on the nose. i agree with you and i'm glad you pointed out the backdrop theme. i don't know if i would have ever figured out a discription of my latest fancy. you have done it for me. thanks again! scot |

I like the composition of this shot and the dreamy feel. I think it could be enhanced further by cloning out the branch that protrudes the furthest the reveal more waterfall.

Looks like a painting. That shot is fantastic. Don't know if I can fault it. Thanks. Jaki.

Beautifull, Beutifull, Beutifull, I cant tell you how much i love your shot. I also really like the dreamy glow effect youve added to the picture. What would make this shot even greated is if it was wider more like cinemascope and had more visual information on the left, wider aspect ratio. If not a secret how did you get that 40's look ...? curious.

i really like the presentation here.. the surreal, dreamy mono presentation lifts this shot, that was probably boring to begin with, to something exudes atmosphere..
