hi nelmr i would clone the bike out, a nice photo, but the contrast needs a little adjusting.

![]() I'm sure the tower can be straightened somewhat butI don't know anything about the contrast talk yet. I'm working on it slowly but surely. :-) The bicycle presents an interesting perspective. I didn't view it as an out of place artifact. Rather it seems to be saying this Berlin Dome isjust one of the many stops the photographer isseeking with a connectionto the past and placing the bicycle in this photograph speaks to that.In other words, the audience knows the picture represents something old, something distinguished, and they also know there are a few possible modes of transportation to get there, and the addition of thebicycle says to the audience what a relaxed way to view the sights and sounds of it all. May be its a memorial I am not sure, if you got ps go into view and thenextras put the grid lines on, you will see what i mean, I am no expert, it is only my opinon.

![]() It appears Nelm usedahefty wide-angle lens: look at the rear wheel of the bicycle, it's out of proportion. This undoubtedly had something to do with the tower leaning. |

THe bicycle makes this picture, IMO. The human element is always aplus when it comes to landscape, architectural photography.
