My personal preference Julie, is for black and white portraits to be mainly of the head and shoulders variety. Or at least with less emphasis on the clothing. I just think that a lot of clothing can look 'lifeless' when converted. Maybe a little more contrast would help the clothing look less lifeless.
So, that'll be the colour one then. Pehaps with the blue toned down slightly ? How cometerror Trentis always happy when you shoot him ??? Stevekin. |

Color. For sure. But the blue does bang you! Good thing the lad has great projection of joy in his expression, or the blue would really sock it to you. It may be just a wee bit loud, but manageable and balanced by his attractive facial expression. (imo)Best regards,
