Along where I live you'd often see boats sitting, on dry land, near the water side. I recently took a few shots of them, at different angles, this was my personal favourite…

Very sweet perspective, and also an appealing subject matter for B&W conversion. Congrats! Maybe you could blur the buildings on the background a bit more..

The background is a little distracting, as bahadir said, adding a little blur to it,should make a difference to the photo, having said that i really like the conversion to B/W, good contrest.

Fantastic shot, and the background is so typical of an Irish fishing port too.
The houses are exactly likethe sights I used to see running around as a kid in Rosslare Harbour and Kilmore Quay. And the black and white conversion just sets this picture off perfectly. Lovely picture, great composition, and thanks for the trip down memory lane. KFA |
