Truly... something curious!!! I must know what is it? The name is sooo intriguing!!! Do you have a wider field of view? Interesting composition. Nice use of DOF. Effective.

hey this is a great shot., i have to say i actually prefer to uncropped version. this is great. i ilke ur use of a shallow dof anf the image is technically brilliant. i relaly like this shot.

I personally find the uncropped version has more background gravel than I would want in an image. The cropped version however seems so tight as to make the identity of the object in question. Perhaps a crop somewhere between the two? Love the meniscus.

i was really just fasinated by the clarity of the gravel in the macro.
i never thought of the shot of the whole oyster shell as that great, myself. here's a little more thought into the shot, though. scot |
