I like these shots. The lines running to the vanishing point work well I think. The shdows work towards making this image effective too. I tried some very similar shots the other day but the light was against me.
I would be interested to see these in colour. Regards, Syd |

I want to know where the bridge is. :-)
Is it in Skidaway Island State Park or somewhere else in the area? It looks sort of like a bridge that's in a community park going out of town (past I-95) on Abercorn Extension/Highway 204. But, that one is over a lake, and your bridge appears to be over salt water/marsh. As for the photo, I'll be the odd one out and say I like the original better. Something about the slight rotation seems to give it a dramatic flare (probably because it seems to exaggerate the difference in perspective between the left and right railing). |

TY everyone for your responses.
Jim- you are in Savannah, what a pleasant surprise! The bridge is at Skidaway State park, it is the big bridge on Sandpiper trail. If you don't know where this is- but I am betting you do- please email me privately and I will give you directions. Tracy |

I think I prefer the lighting in the first post, without the slight tilt. The extra contrast in the edit detracts fro the detail in the shadows.
