Taken from a bus. Point and shoot sort of situation. It has been heavily cropped and slightly edited but can't figure how to make the subject stand out from the background more.

try to dodge the highlights on the birds at about 50% and burn the grass shadows at about 30% . That should help.

Its a really quick edit (and it shows) but it shows you a slight difference between you original image and my edited version.
I basically increased the red to 2, green to 5 anf blue to 30. Used dodge brush at 35% or the grass and sharpened the birds. Like I said, its not a fantastic edit, but it gives you a rough idea of how te image can be altered if you have the time - unfortunatly I didn't, kids were hounding me for ice cream. |

Ok, did a quick editing job and cropped it a little more ... just to show what's possible but if you start from the original you can do a better job
