Whilst I'm on my sunset pics I thought I would attach these. My family and I had spent a day at Avebury stone circle and due to family pressures ("haven't you taken enough pics yet dear?") we made our way home. Behind us was the most amazing sunset. As my wife was driving I managed to shoot from behind us, hanging out of the window, from the moving car. I'm kinda fond of them. No tripod suggestions please . . .

nice catch Syd:cool: i like the second one... good esposure, it more give more impact to me if i can see the sunset blending colors to the foreground but as you said your in the car while shooting. for me i will ask my wife to stop the car to get this upportunity. its really great catch Syd.

the second one is best here.. you may take a little off the bottom.. when you are silhouetting the horizon in a sunset shot, don't include much of the horizon as expanses of black are distracting.. here you can deviate from the rule of thirds and place the horizon much lower than you normally would..

Sorry Syd, But this post came as a great dissapointment to me.........

I thought "Bude" was a careless spelling mistake on your behalf

Just for you Steve. I think this test proves the S5500 zoom is quite adequate at nearly 300 mm.

Brave girls judging by the look of the weather - I suppose acarelessly cropped image of Sybil is out of the question?:D

Darers go first dude.....

Was a perfect sunny day. The lens seemed to steam over though when I took this.
