It's Nice Julies, has that pastel feel. Did you take this in Millbrook this weekend?

no, this one was shot in my dining room, lol. i didn't even bring my camera to millbrook, it was too rainy! it's a pretty vineyard, i'll have to return on a nicer day....if we ever get one.

thanks dustin, i think i like the colors of the other one better, i kind of like the textures in this one though, i have some more that i like very much that have either selective focus, one that's out of focus completely but it seems some people object to that sort of thing. thanks for looking :)

well, there is a time and a place for both biting sharp macros and selective focus.. and that is the trick, matching the right technique with the right subject/composition.. looking forward to seeing some more..

and don't worry what ppl object to, post away anyways!!

I really like this a lot. I liked the other one pretty well but I find this one more striking. The texture is outstanding. I love the abstract quality. If you hadn't revealed what it was I probably never would have guessed.

thank you ladyhawk. i'm pleased that you like it. the wings have been interesting to work with, maybe next time i'll be more mysterious in my titles ;). there are more posted on my flickr page.
