Was out for a nice long seafront walk and had my new macro lens with me. its a very very addictive little lens!
Anyway, I got a few of the seashells in the sand as the waves were comming in. I was going for a slight abstract look, flowing lines and monochrome. Luckily the water started to gently spill into the hollow in the sand where the shells were located giving an added detail without making the image too busy. I do like this shot, but Im still not sure about the DOF, if i should have left a little more in there. I like it and agree mounting that print on a black board would look even better.
