Second shot with 100-400 L IS. I am doing some inside comparisons between this lens and the 300L with 1.4 tc (will make it 420 5.6) to see how much sharper the 300 will be. The 100-400 is quite soft for such a high dollar lens but the 300 is going to have to be a good bit sharper for me to give up that range.

i prefer this one.. the composition is better and we get a little more glimpse of the surfer here... looks good..i can't help but think maybe a slight boost in the green/blue channels will make the water pop a little more..

window maker, this is a great shot. Like Dustin suggests can you boost colour and see how it works.
Kind regards. |

Thanks all. The lighting was not optimal, especially to expose the surfer. I don't want to boost to much farther. This is far from the original, which was a complete haze due to shooting about 45 degrees into the sun and through the mist. I'm surprised there was any color at all.
