i like the subject matter and the composition is wonderful...the only thing i'd like to see is a richer black...maybe it's my monitor but it seems a little gray. nice shot.

this composition is frustrating. I feel myself wanting to see what is in the bottom left out of frame. sorry, it is really off putting.

i'm sorry i don't follow your line of reasoning here.. what do you feel is there that you need to see..i mean i think its fairly obvious that it is just more light poles.. but my perspective is skewed in that i was there and took the picture.. and i really don't see how thats off-putting.. the line of poles are included as a lead in towards the main subject which is the chapel..
thanks for your honest comments, dustin |

thereare composition techniques use to draw your eyes to the main subject of a photo. The way you have composed, I find my eyes drawn down and to the left. I would have liked it moreif none of the posts were cut off.
dont get me wrong. its a good photo, very pretty scene. better than I could do! but not perfect. |

unfortunately the lack of a better vantage point to take this one made it impossible to include that light pole fully .. i was stuck in no mans land on this composition.. i couldnt get close enough to use a wider angle lens, nor could i get high enough to get further away.. this was the best compromise i could do..
thanks againfor the explanation and comments. |
