Hey Frenchy!

I can't believe this one passed by without comment. This image is very artistic...I love the way you've conveyed motion by spinning the ornament and using a slower shutter speed...this is Christmas card material and I'm sure Hallmark will be knockin' on your door soon!:cool:Congrats on a very nice capture!

Agree with Lady Stitchbabe. There is a lot in there if one looks carefully. Thanks.

wow i didnt know that the ball was spinning .. took me a while to figure it out. I think i'd be really cool if u got those sparklely lights all over the picture. You know the look you get when u put a 4 pointed star filter on. Ya' know just to brighten up that holiday mood

i don't think the ball is spinning... if it were, the wire loop at the top would be just a blur. some nice PP work, though, to impart that sense of motion to the ball itself...

Good spot squirl... still love the idea... maybe try it with spinning the bauble?

Thanks for the comments, guys. It might seem strange but the bauble was spinning, just very slowly. I used a 1/2 second shutter speed and I must say I don't know why the loop doesn't seem to be spinning much either. I think it might be because the link to the bauble was loose and as a result the bauble was spinning inside the cap. I can't prove that tomyself, though, because I've packed everything away until next year!
