The BW's got a nice, moody and 'dark' feel to it. I prefer that one. It certainly looks cold!

If it were only the texture of the tree, I'd definetely go for the B&W one. But I think the sky and the sea have things to say through their colour only, in this case, due to the distance of the sea and the weather, which did not produce any clouds. But still hard to tell, for the B&W tree appears more remarkable. Maybe there's a way to attain this with the colour one, like GoCups did for my aphrodite figure, in this forum.

i ve got to say after looking at em both for a while i do prefer the colour version myself. i think its a very nice suttle touch which gives the image character. i mean no doubt the b&w adds a darker character to the image but i have to say in this instance i think the colour looks superb.

Definitely the B&W for me - agree with a previous poster that it gives it a nice 'moody' feel.

Edit: Dang, my first double post... stupid double clickin'
![]() Edit again, I may as well add my B&W version to the mix too, as long as I have the post already here. |
