Colour or BW Beach

I'm going with the color on this one, that might be just because I'm sick of seeing only greys and browns this time of year! In the middle of a hot summer, I might prefer the colder look of B&W. I sharpened it a little and added a little contrast, hope you don't mind.

There, GoCups did it again! The B&W one appears clearer and less depressing. I'm afraid anything else (including colours) will be extra from now on. Thus, I'll have to lean from the colourful one to the B&W one slightly!!Thanx, Redrhino for this unforgettable shot, and thanx GoCups, for

Thanks, but there is really nothing magical or special that I'm doing that anyone else couldn't. Most digital pictures could use a few minor tweaks before printing or posting. I don't really agree with the thought that using Photoshop is cheating, most of the tools available were also available to be done in the darkroom, it'sjust easier on the PC. It makes it easier when they are exposed and focusedproperly as this shot was. I am amazed at how well the Canon Drebel(thecamera that took this pic)held up to sharpening without introducing noise. I haven't ever worked on a dSLR shot before, makes me want one even more now, I am accepting donations.:blah::?
