I have been working on thispic trying to get it to where I am happy with it.Got it to where I'malmost happy with it.Now I would like your suggestions. How is the composition? Is there too much sky? Does it hold your attention?

Nice picture here. The colours blend nicely. In terms of composition, I wished there was more of that foreground so as to balance off the sky expanse. I also I like the angle at which you shot it. The picture certainly has an artistic value. Don't know what other will say. Regards. Jaki.

I agree, there is just a little to much sky for my liking, otherwise nicely done. If the sky were a little more interesting, a few nice cloudsit would have been better. Love the fence though and the angle.

Following the "rule of thirds", you'd probably want two thirds sky, and one third snow fence.

Or two thirds snow fence and one third sky.

Also, on the left side, the fence ends. Perhaps crop that little bit out to keep the continuity of the fence across the scene.

Nice pic, just a matter of the right crop.

hi Kath this is a very nice shot, the exposure is very good to my eyes,but i would certainly crop half of the sky off.

did you get my message about the action on the pencil sketch, in your in box, the one that i did on the old barn.

i think its got some merit, but i would like you to take it a bit further..

go a little more extreme with your composition.. this one is pulled back and conservative.. get close to the fence, pick a more dramatic angle.. something that demands the viewer to have a look..

a pleasing shot, just think you can take it further...

Thanks everybody. I have other shots of this fencethat I will work on..not many at different angles though. This place is near our cabin on Red Lake...looks like I'll just have to go on vacation again to get more pics....right? (somehow I don't think my boss will buy that!) :G
