I am curious and need to know from any software gurus how you can sort the background of such a shot. Ispossible toremove the background of this flower and leave a plain background using photo software.
Kind regards. |

i am not a software guru, but i think it would be rather difficult to do with this shot because of all the petals.. but then again, maybe not..
anyways, i just wanted to say that i liked your composition here.. the angle of the flower and its position in the frame is very appealing.. nice job.. -dustin |

I don't think it would be that difficult to do. I just used the magnetic lasso tool in Photoshop to go around the flower and replaced the background. It's very crude and not well done but it shows what's possible. I'm sure given time it could be done quite successfully. Neil |

Very Beautiful shot! Don't know why you would want to change the back ground. I think it works very well the way it is and the DOF I think is set nicely for the back ground.

I suggest posting in the Extreme Makeover forum. You will get detailed directions on how to do this, taking into account which software you use. Basically, the idea is to select the part you want to keep and save it, then clear out the rest of the image and put back the saved part.

the best and the only way to get a perfect look it's to learn how to use the PS pen tool...it does miracles.
