This looks much like some of my first daffodil shots. I had a difficult time with these because in my area it was always very cold at night and the flower looked a bit wilted until it warmed up so I had to shoot them later in the day which isn't the best time to shoot flora.

Your image is too large for display here. Most visitors will have to scroll up/down and left/right to see the entire image. Size your images smaller. I'd suggest no larger than 800 pixels on the longest side.

Shoot this flower immediately before sunset or early in the morning after sunrise. Position the camera so it is more toward the side the light is hitting. If you are using manual camera settings then set your aperture to f/7 - f/9. This should give you enough depth to keep the entire flower sharp.
