More tests with flowers, the yellow one is the size of a cookie, the purple is about the size of a 5 cent piece, a quarter in USA maybe.

I edited the first image to give it a lot more PUNCH. Overall, I like both images. Boost the contrast for clarity and unsharp mask after you have sized them for posting.

I agree with Rodney. The shots are very nice, but they need a little more impact... which, by the way is already there, you just have to bring it out.For a lot of photographers, thefirst step in editing is to check the LEVELS. (I usually do it on an adjustment layer... then I can't screw things up too badly) this is often enough, short of a littleUSM, to get a good idea of theshot's potential.

Nicely thought out shots.
