Hello everyone.
Here is my very first post. I have been admiring all the photos posted in all the forums and decided to join in fun. Here is a picture I took early this morning. I have a Canon 10D with a 50mm 1.4 lens. I used a custom white balance. It has the warm tones of early morning. Thanks, Phil |

Hello Phil,
Welcome to the forum! I enjoy these images very much. I'd like to see them a little larger though. Maybe next time you can size your images at least 600 pixels on the longest side?? Composition and presentation are excellent! The square format works very good with both images. Great choice! I'd give these a little contrast boost by doing a slight levels adjustment, but that doesn't mean these aren't fine as are. I prefer a little more brightness. Rodney |

Thanks Rodney. I appreciate the comments. I will give your suggestions a try. I seem to loose the quality of the image when saving from photoshop. The photos look alot bolder in PS. Any suggestions on saving them properly?

Note that more than oneversion of the same image is OK (here it is cropped differently, etc.). But, lets try to keep it to one photo being critiqued per thread here so that the comments are more focused. Thanks! Jim C. |
